The Chapters of the Book

The first section of the book encompasses the theoretical basis of The ontology of metamorphic patterns . In general, the basic concepts of therapy are introduced followed by relevant, specific theories of therapy. This section describes the Three Pathway Model: fetal, growth, and awareness. This exposition expands on the six stages of fetal development as they appear and are reflected in the three pathways. The central role of the spinal cord as a nerve generator reflected in the feet, hands, and head is also discussed. The section concludes with a detailed consideration of the stages of the development of disease, the healing processes, and the role of touch in healing.

The second section of the book presents general observations on the body and focuses on the reflex areas. It describes the reflex areas of the feet in relation to the six pre-natal stages and goes on to examine the markings of the feet. Close attention is paid to the different markings of the feet, such as the structure, texture, colors, lines, scars, calluses, and blisters. The second section therefore constitutes the basis of metamorphic diagnosis.

The third part of the book describes the pre-natal treatment system. This section deals with those special characteristics of the Metamorphic Therapy that relate to the preparation of the patient and the treatment room, The treatment framework, the language, the discourse between healer and patient, as well as the principles of the preliminary touch are discussed. Graphics provide detailed demonstrations of the metamorphic touch system. The section ends with reference to the potential blockages and regressions of patient and healer.

The fourth section of the book deals with the groups of people who choose this treatment. It addresses the various topics of treating children – including those with special needs – families, and the different possibilities of self healing. All of the chapters are supplemented by case studies derived from the writer’s personal clinical and teaching experiences.

Sources

The materials for this book were collected from the personal stories of students and patients documented during the last twenty years of my work as both a healer and a teacher. These accounts of the Pre-Natal, Birth, and Maturation stages are illuminated by stories that are of significance to us and to the families we bring into this world. That pre-natal behavioral patterns are replicated from generation to generation is revealed through stories. Additional materials were collected from researches in various fields. An interdisciplinary approach has been taken: the literature, poetry, philosophy, and history of the world provide insights into the origins of our impulses and actions. From these sources, and from personal and social research, arises the unified and organized approach to treatment approach presented in this book.
